What I liked most about this service is that nothing felt rushed or careless. From pickup to delivery, everything was handled professionally. The rug had uneven wear and a dull appearance before cleaning, but after it came back from their facility, the colors were more balanced and the surface felt smoother. There was no chemical smell or residue, which I really appreciated. It looks like the rug was properly washed, dried, and finished the right way. I feel comfortable trusting them again in the future.

The antique rug cleaning they did for me was exceptional. My rug is a mix of silk and wool, hand knotted and very delicate, so I was relieved when they handled the entire process with care. They picked it up from my home, treated it at the factory with their modern machinery, and returned it looking refreshed without altering any of the original woven detailing. The softness, vibrancy, and clean smell were just perfect. Their service truly brought new life into an old piece.

I just found out that this store closed five days ago. The reason it closed is because the landlord wants to "redevelop" the building (the adjacent Bed, Bath & Beyond store had closed in early 2023 and that space is still vacant). We'd last visited this store several weeks ago and it looked beautiful, plus the personnel were again really wonderful; incredibly helpful and friendly. On the bright side, B&N is trying to find a new site in Tribeca.
