I was in Chinatown for a lunar new year celebration and while walking around I stumbled on to this barbershop. I didn't have time to get a haircut before I left home. I saw the price as I was walking by one of the barbers waved me in and I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I paid $7 for an awesome haircut. The place was busy but with 4 barbers, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. If you want for an additional $3 you can get a shampoo and blow dry. They only take cash but at that price it isn't an issue. If I am in the area and needed a haircut I would go back.

What kind of bike do you want for ten dollars? Two cups of milk tea are more expensive than this! The uncles who speak Cantonese have no problem with their craftsmanship and their aesthetics. As for communication. Can someone speak Cantonese, or take photos? it should be no problem. For this price and effect, I think it’s okay to give it five stars. If you want to complain about the environment, please go to the 100 Yuan Barber Shop.

I don't know what people with 1 star reviews expect from a $7 haircut barbershop, but the haircut was definitely good and quick. Just showed the photo as an example of what I wanted and received a good result in 10 minutes. The place is not sparkling clean, but again, I came for a haircut and not for the environment.

No frills efficient barber. All about efficiency and turnover. I showed a picture of my prior haircut and the end result was close enough lol. It's $7.

It’s a hidden gem in downtown Manhattan. Only 7 dollars for a haircut. The haircut turns out better than those who charge $$$.

Fantastic barber shop! If I could give 6 stars I would! as a bok wai (white male) I had no trouble communicating with my Cantonese speaking stylist. He was adept with scissors, expert with the clippers. oh, and did I mention it cost $7? yes, you heard right SEVEN BUCKS! I gave him a 10 spot and he tried to give me $3 in change! Of course, I told him to keep it.Amazing.

This is a very traditional Shanghainese barber shop?.If you want a quick, affordable $7 haircut without high expectations, this is a place to go. But if you are looking for a 5 star service as an enjoyment, or planning to turn yourself into a K-Pop star, this might not be the place for you. FYI, the waiting time might be longer than the time they actually cut your hair. Cash Only!
