About New Harlem Unisex

New Harlem Unisex is an excellent barbershop with amazing, kind barbers who provide fantastic haircuts, including razor and fade cuts. They offer very reasonably priced service with great attention to detail and can cut all hair types. The shop has good vibes, is LGBTQ-friendly, and is a place to chat, making customers feel right at home. Many highly recommend it as a solid neighborhood barber for one of the best haircuts.

    Excellent barbers!! Previously, I'd trek all the way to Chinatown for a haircut. I assure you they can cut all hair types! I'm glad that I finally found a solid barber in my neighborhood.Service: Fade cut

    Kenny did a fantastic cut with a lot of patience and the owner, Ninj, made me feel right at home. I must've left the shop with that "just got a fresh haircut" glow because like 3 strangers complimented me on my way home.LGBTQ-friendly as well.     Wow, I lucked out. I just moved to the area, and for the first time in 6 years needed to find a place to get my hair cut. I figured I'd have to try out a half dozen places before finding a place that I could deal with. Nope. I had called in advance, so I was able to sit down as soon as I walked in the door. The place is clean, well-lit, and has some pretty cool tunes playing. Any sort of anxiety I had went away as soon as the buzzer started going; I could tell these guys are pros. The haircut alone was good enough to get me to go back, but the guys there were super warm and welcoming, so I'll probably go back a week or two earlier than I would otherwise. 10/10, will go...read full review
