Wonderful practice with a really kind and caring team of PTs who know what they are doing. I washed up here last fall in a post natal haze and a knee injury that made even climbing stairs a challenge. I was assigned Alaina, who listened closely to my issues and worked with me slowly and steadily to get me back to fitness. I owe her everything positive about my body now! Having eavesdropped on the other PTs with their patients, I am pretty sure that the others are equally awesome. The communal atmosphere with its large, airy and sunlit open space made such a difference, even in the depths of winter. Nice people and well meaning, but they really don't know what the hell they're doing. Misdiagnoses, cookie cutter answers for every issue, and mostly hands-off...most appointments ended up with me doing a bunch of kind of lame and ineffective exercises, by myself, for most of the appointment I'm a trainer. I don't go to physical therapy for that. Now, I will say, if I were a hot 20-something boy or a celebrity, the attention paid would be much different I've seen that repeatedly. I never made it into Neurosport. Adrian in reception was so rude with me on the phone that I did not feel I could handle coordinating with them. Adrian used expressions like, "Let me tell you how insurance works..." While I am sure the therapy is excellent, the front of house staff needs some fine tuning to make this a choice over all of the other PT clinics in New York City.
