They are truly the best !!!! My hair was super short and was uneven due to an accident and Crystal and Joey were able to transform my hair back to how it used to be. yari was amazingggg the whole crew was fabulous from start to finish. yari was super gentle and explained everything to me, and gave me the hair i’ve always wanted. i came in with fine thin hair and left with full beautiful full pink hair! robert was also amazing, he and yari mixed my color amazingly and gave me exactly what i wanted. claudia was also excellent and explained everything to me during my first wash. i would recommend lucinda ellery to everyone i know! don’t be afraid to ask them for your dream hair :)

I have been a client at Lucinda Ellery for the past 7 years, and the salon is truly one of a kind. Everyone who works there is highly skilled, professional, and always makes clients feel welcomed and cared for. I especially cannot say enough wonderful things about one of their stylists, Chasity. She is incredibly caring, patient, kind, and truly talented at what she does. You can tell she genuinely wants every client to leave feeling happy and confident. I wear extensions, and I color my hair every other week. Chasity does an amazing job with both, making my hair look so natural and beautiful every time. Today I had a video conference with Barbara. I have had thinning hair around the hair line for three years. Barbara was not pushy with a hard sell. She looked at my hair situation and was honest about what was best for me. She answered all my concerns and we came up with the best solution for me. On February 14, it will be one year since giving myself the best Valentine's present ever. I came to Lucinda Ellery NY to get my system built, and I walked out a new person no longer concern about wind or water! As someone who had been struggling to manage my hair loss since my late teens, I desperately wanted a solution that would work with my naturally very curly hair and look natural.
The team at Lucinda Ellery couldn't have done a better job of making me feel more at ease. From warm and welcoming Gabrielle at the front desk, to Chastity, who really worked to understand my goals and built the system, and Claudia who taught me how to care for it, I knew I was in great hands. Over the past year, I've gotten to know most of the rest of the gang who also support each other and the clients -- Myrel and Roberto in particular usually help out with my maintenance appointments and are just fabulous. As a fellow curly girl, Chastity has been my primary - working to test out different products and approaches with my hair- both natural and the system - to aim for the perfect blend. The team has also introduced me to the joy of professional coloring to really make it all work (and deal with my increasingly grey natural hair!)!
I'm grateful to them and only wish I could bring them all to Washington, DC. We could really use an outpost here because I have met several other clients who travel up regularly like me to keep up the hair! We need more safe places and open conversations so that women can support each other as they seek great solutions like Lucinda Ellery!
