Locs NYC to Miami is a welcoming, peaceful, and very clean salon with great vibes and respectful, lovely staff. The loctician, Tyra, is friendly, professional, fast, and knowledgeable. She is truly top tier, providing an amazing experience where she handles everything with care and takes pride in the health of your hair, not just the style. Her interlocking and retwists are top tier, never too tight, and always styled just right. She is also patient and offers great recommendations. Tyra uses her own products, which work extremely well and smell amazing. These include tea tree oil for itching, Oshun hair and body oil, Oya oil for moisture, and hydration and apple cider vinegar shampoos that leave hair noticeably softer. She is reasonable and affordable, operating in a good location. Clients report having an incredible overall experience, with positive energy and genuine conversation. For starter locs, retwists, braids, or big color projects, Tyra is highly recommended as a perfectionist and a great person who truly cares.

Tyra has been my loctician for a while now, and every experience with her has been nothing but amazing. I most recently got my hair done on February 5th, and my hair looks incredible and feels even better. You can genuinely tell she takes pride in the health of your hair, not just the style.
She handles everything with care, from the shampoo to the products she uses, all of which are her own. Her products work extremely well and smell amazing. Tyra is friendly, professional, fast, and knowledgeable about locs. She is reasonable and in a good location. I tried her after reading recommendations from all over and wasn't disappointed. I'd recommend her to others and will continue going to her!
