I’ve been coming here for a while because I don’t like switching hair stylists often. The first visit was great, they were welcoming and the service felt worth it. But once you come back, everything changes. The prices are extremely high for a regular neighborhood salon, definitely not a luxury Manhattan experience. And worst of all, they treat you terribly.

You can spend a lot of money and still be talked to with attitude, rushed, and ignored. Their communication is awful — if you ask a simple question or try to clarify your service, they act annoyed or even angry. It’s uncomfortable and unprofessional.

To be fair, the stylist’s work isn’t bad, but the way they hit you with unexpected charges and then still expect a generous tip is ridiculous. I’m paying premium prices but being treated poorly each time. Sadly, I won’t be coming back. Not worth the stress or the money.

I have been to both Anna and Eddie, amazing hair stylists with great prices and conversation. There work is always fantastic. The owner is also so sweet, it was raining and he gave me his umbrella to take home. I have gotten keratin treatments here and hair cuts & am always pleased with the work. Best prices for this quality of work in the city. You want find a better option in Manhattan

My wife and I are regulars here.
I get my hair cut and she gets coloring and cuts. Roberto and Erdagon are our go to people. The salon is beautiful and always reflects the season or holiday.
I won't go anywhere else. Roberto cuts hair like Vidal Sasson and he's always striving for perfection

I had such an amazing experience with Eddie and Roberto! I got a Brazilian blowout and couldn’t have asked for a better job!

So happy I found this place. Eddie was amazing. Just moved here from Florida and needed a root touch up and haircut Eddie really took his time to make sure perfect cut and style. Really happy with the entire process and the results. I Will certainly be back! The salon was clean and everyone working was very friendly. Prices are a little more than what I was paying in Florida but prices are going up on everything lately and the results were definitely worth it. Go see Eddie he is the best stylist ever!

Worst salon experience ever. Went for a keratin and it completely ruined my hair. A proper keratin treatment is supposed to take around 2 hours or more, they spray something from a water bottle, then just do a simple blow out which took less than 30 mins. They tell you to wait one day before washing your hair. After three days my hair has gone back to just the way it was and I now have dandruff and immense breakage from whatever they used. Worst thing to happen to my hair- they are just trying to make a quick buck, they could care less about quality or service.

Please any black or POC women do not go here. I got a keratin Groupon from them and managed to schedule an appointment. Bare in mind the minute you walk through the door if you are black they will immediately look at your hair and say that it is too frizzy/curly or long. Obviously those with straight hair are not running to get a keratin??? So it is expected that the persons hair is curly? They will then proceed to up charge you by $100 and fail to inform you of this. They charged my friend who is white and has much curlier hair than me $50. Why so different? Try Eric NYC or even Toto. Much more POC friendlyEdit: in regards to their response. I love the coded racial undertones of 'argued' and 'argumentative'. It just proves to show exactly what mind frame they hold. The issue here is the lack of transparent pricing my dear. You should not be charging one person one way and another a different way. They have also done this many times if you look at their reviews on Groupon
