Stylist Jessie use to cut my hair years ago . Recently was told he still was in Washington Heights. Ran over to his shop!! Got an amazing haircut . Grew out lovely !! Just went back again . Highly recommend!! He has tons of experience has great suggestions also to what works best for you !!!

Stylist: Jesse has been my hairstylist for over 40 years from long hair styles to short pixies, to bobs I’ve had it all and he has done an excellent job each and every time.

felt like he free balled most of it, I requested a slight trim and layers and he was cutting as it seems willy nilly.

Apparently when going to get your hair done one needs to be explicit about what NOT to do when telling the stylist what you want. Why would a professional mix chemical straighteners with color when the client (me) only asked for cut, color, style? What a disappointment. The word is that quietly adding straightening products is a common practice among a certain demographic. I had never experienced it myself but now I know...I thought I did the research; Read the reviews; Consulted with the stylist in person before making the appointment; Felt comfortable going to a salon in the neighborhood where length and dense curls are common...Big mistake! I have never had such completely destructive treatment of my hair in my life. It's a good thing that hair grows but the damage done is very noticeable. True that the atmosphere of Le Haircut Talent is fun and the hospitality is nice. I only wish that the haircare had met my expectations.

I wear a short pixie haircut, and the hairdresser was so fast - I was done in 15 minutes and he did a great job. The price is affordable, unlike most Manhattan places that think we are all rich. I had a dry cut, which is even more reasonable, and given that my hair is short and “wash&wear” I really don’t need a wash and blow dry. I was very pleased.

When I first came in, I didn't know what to expect.. I wanted a different haircut/hairstyle but was unsure. Jesse was kind enough to show me a few magazines for inspiration, and offered some coffee, I was comfortable and felt like I was in good hands, I was afraid of the outcome but I decided to trust the process. I'm glad I came! & he definitely knew what he was doing. Pretty quick and easy.
