I’ve been living in New York City for nearly a decade now and it’s taken me a decade to find the only place I can trust. Layers is small, neatly hidden, and honestly I love it so much I hate the idea of it being conspicuous. However, I have to say, after visiting three times now, that Charles and the salon assistant are so warm and care for your time there. Despite my hair cut technically being an hour later than I’d anticipated, the assistant talked me through when I was getting a wash, when I was getting styled, when I was getting the actual cut. Had a hair cut with Sam and love it. Been getting so many compliments since I left the salon!!! The salon is small. Nothing fancy. Not much of wait time. I also had my root color done there . It was OK. I'd reccomend it if you are in for a cut and need a to get roots done too. But the hair cut was a different level. Excellent.Hair coloring price: $100

Fantastic experience. I asked for a hairstyle that would give my fine, straight hair volume and the style I got is perfect. I feel like he really took his time to get everything right and everyone was friendly and professional. It was extremely reasonably priced as well! Highly recommended.
