La Mode 1st Cleaners is the best dry cleaners on the UES, known for its fair and reasonable prices. It offers a quick turnaround time and excellent customer service every single day. The staff is the most friendly, personable, professional, and skilled, creating a very welcoming and homey atmosphere. Customers trust their clothes to be taken care of with great cleaning and alteration services, including laundry wash & fold. This shop provides a great experience and makes customers feel at home.
Mr. Kim is an extremely kind and thorough professional. We had an expensive jacket with a broken zipper that several tailors told us was impossible to fix. He studied it for a day (free of charge) and then called me to ask if he could try an unorthodox way of repairing it. Walked me through the steps and when we gave the green light he completely repaired the jacket.
Great local small business. I recently went here for a wash and fold and they did a great job. Everything was clean and crisp and pride was great. I also mistakenly thought they lost one of my shirts - it ended up being my mistake and they didn’t, but they looked high and low for me and were so nice when I realized my mistake!
I had a great experience with La Mode 1st Cleaner! Their prices are fair and more reasonable than others in the area and I've felt that they have done a great job cleaning my items. They also have a quick turnaround time. As an example, to dry clean a dress cost me $18, where another dry cleaner quoted me $30 for the same dress. I will definitely continue to use this shop for my future dry cleaning needs.
