I love them. I will not allow anyone else to touch my hair. They encouraged me years ago to go Natural and I don't regret it.

So boom she moved to 138th street. But I'm not sure what everyone likes. She "combed out" my hair with a brush. She was so rough that I assume my hair is broken all over. I mean she ripped right through any tangles. She doesn't have large rollers. I need the jumbo but most Black people with natural hair need the large if they ever hope to dry (or get straight). As I go under the dryer she tells me that I need to put "something" in my hair because it's "too much", too curly, just too. Soo... alarm bells are going off in my head like did she already put the something in? I know that I have a lot of hair. almost every where I go they take a deep heavy sigh when they seand call on the ancestors at least once while doing my hair. But I have NEVER been told that I needed to put something in my hair to "soften it". I am 3c/4a. They never did that at Grace on st nick. I'm the only customer at noon on a weekday so it's not like I'm overworking you. The results are mediocre. Not silky and smooth. Oh yeah, I was also told (at the end) my hair is dry and I need to moisturize. Like sis, why didn't you offer a deep conditioner? Did you even use conditioner? I deep condition my hair EVERY week. Anyways, my hair is straighter and but I fear I will have heat damage, breakage from the rough brushing and maybe even a little relaxer damage. Charged me $65 (said it will be $85 next time)

Note: Kendra moved to 301 138th Street ! Love love loveeee Kendra's. She always does such a great job and I thankfully never leave with heat damage. I've been natural for 10 years and only trusted a childhood stylist in Brooklyn. When that location became too far, I decided to give this shop a try... def not disappointed.

Before I moved to Arizona, I used to come here to get my hair done weekly. Miosoty and her team of stylists were awesome! They took really good care of my hair. I miss Miosoty.

I use to come here a lot but one time she cut my hair super short , and than basically try to say You already had short hair but there was a significant difference, and she puts a lot of heat on your hair
