I attended this venue (the James Brard House) for a private event with a celebrity chef. The entire experience was fantastic! Learning of the history of the house, enjoying the phenomenal six course meal that we enjoyed, and sharing that experience with some really good people made for a fantastic evening. A+++

My review is based one visit when it first opened. The mission and foundation alone earns stars from me. The food options were varied and the spacious venue allows one to roam and find just the right seat. By the time you read this, it will have been open a couple months and perhaps as crowded as Chelsea Market can be, but still a nice choice as a foodie stop along the river.

Great comfortable, homey space with a great backyard covered area, and a mirrored wall bathroom on the top floor that I stayed in way too long, adjusting my outfit at all angles. The event I attended was well done, with awesome food and wines, and I'd definitely go back.
