Tameeka styled my hair for my wedding day & I absolutely loved it!! My hair looked amazing and stayed in place throughout a hot humid day in July! She just understands my natural hair & is so in tune with my 4C/4b hair texture. Also her wash & gos are the best!
I found Jaded Tresses from YT videos back in 2017/18 when I started my natural hair journey. In 2019, I finally had enough money to see Tameeka and it was truly life changing; to meet someone who knew hair, specifically MY hair! I’ve tried other salons (time/location reasons) but it was never the same. When I was planning my wedding I knew Tameeka HAD to do my hair and she did not disappoint! I wanted a hairstyle that can be wedding and honeymoon in Galapagos friendly and Tameeka delivered! I spent most of my honeymoon in the ocean and when I came back and took down the braids my hair still smelled good and looked like a blow out. Could not recommend her enough!!!
I’ve been getting my hair cuts with Tameeka since 2016. My hair type is 4a. I mainly get shaping and my ends trimmed.
