I got a great haircut there and the vibe was just wonderful and casual. This is a small shop. There are only two chairs. That is one of the things I like most about this particular place. It is advisable that you call before you go.

CLOSED as of June 2023. Space is empty. Low number of customers. The Russian barber wasn't all that great.

Solid barbershop experience. Guys are friendly, haircuts are fast and rarely have to wait on walk-in. Reasonably priced ($25). The quality's a little inconsistent but given the price and speed I think reasonable.

Clean shop, very skilled haircuts, great price. Not much more you could want.

Easily the worst haircut of my life! My face hurts afterwards, as does my scalp. If you want to go somewhere where they'll cut up your face (With clippers rather than a straight razor), and chop off your hair randomly all in less than 15 minutes, this is the place. Their hygiene is also awful (They use all the same tools and towels, don't clean them, and don't clean the chairs), I have spent the past two days googling the diseases you can get from the barber as a result of the red bumps that have formed after going there. Also keep in mind the price. Outside it says $25, but afterwards they will ask for more. The guy tried to shake me down for an extra $25 for 50 in total, how is a place like this even still open. If you value your health, hair, pride, or wallet, steer clear.Services: Haircut

Not horrid but definitely nowhere near great. Rushed thru the cut and left me with slightly uneven hair. Wouldn’t go again unless Barber 101 was closed.I can’t respond to comments here, but I can edit. I got the haircut two weeks ago.

Lived in city for 15 years and had my third cut here. These guys are pros. They do it quick and right for $30 bucks.

Where did you guys move to?? I see the storefront is empty. This is hands down the best spot in NYC

Got there at 6. Told me I could only pay with cash. Everything I said bothered him and when I asked for advice he didn’t want to give it. He ended up doing the haircut that he wanted and when I asked to cut slightly more on the sides he said he would charge me extra and that he closed at 6 and was doing me a favor (even though Google Maps and the signs on the store say it closes at 7). It was 6:20 by then. Horrible service.
