I can't thank Lana enough for her incredible work! After a home coloring attempt left me with uneven, two-toned hair and gray roots showing through, I was so embarrassed I kept hiding under a sports cap or scarf. My hair was a complete mess. But Lana worked her magic she skillfully corrected the colors, blended everything beautifully, and brought my hair back to life! Thanks to her talent and keen eye for color, I finally feel confident again. Lana is truly a gifted colorist and a lifesaver. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for real expertise, care, and beautiful results! A +++++++

Worse experience ever. It took me 2 yrs to grow the length I wanted. I went in for a trim and face framing. I told and showed Nellie exactly what I wanted she doesn’t listen to what you request and cuts your hair as she pleases. She gave me a choppy layers all over and cut my hair super short. I wake up so sad and depressed everyday knowing I can’t do much with my hair anymore. Additionally she’s so rude. She left some hair on my face, so I told her please clean that up she said “clean it yourself you’re not a baby”, Never returning again…

I used to go to the original location of this once popular chain on West 86th street and Columbus Avenue, so I figured it was okay. Yeah, not so much.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had gone back to the 80's...and that it hadn't been cleaned since then. To make matters worse, I felt like I walked into an oven as it was swelteringly hot. Lana, my "hair stylist," said the heat was on and they couldn't fix it. Seriously...at 68 degrees outside that's just messed up.
As to the cut...Lana ignored my directions of long on top and front. Instead made my hair too short. Nice enough woman. Decent skills...except doesn't like to listen to the customer.
Needless to say, I won't be returning.

I've been going to International Haircutters for 2 years and my only issue is that I didn't find this place SOONER. Dom is the absolute best!! He is super attentive and highly skilled!! I highly recommend him. My (college age) son has now become a regular. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!
