Tried to call to make an appointment over a month again and no one has the courtesy to call me back. Clearly they don’t care enough. Very rude to not get back to people that desperately need to solve an issue holistically.

This medical team- Dr. Beer, Dr. Morley, and once upon a time, Dr. Gratopp and their staff helped me regain my quality of life more than a few times over the last 8 or so years without my fully understanding why (I was having ever shifting autoimmune type issues). Now that the information about gut and functional medicine/lifestyle factors is more widely available, I fully understand why and how they were successful in helping me all those years, and feel totally in control of my health outcomes. I am feeling great without any current symptoms or evidence of autoimmune and getting even better and more energetic all the time. I couldn't be more grateful for their forward thinking and care!

Dr. Beer brought me back from death, he is a very good doctor and I owe him a lot. I wish I could afford his services now.

For those of you working with or for the Wellness Consultant, K. F., she pretends to be an altruistic and highly evolved individual. However, without witnesses present, she behaves like a mean girl-bully grown old. K. F. sadistically enjoys jabbing unsuspecting, disempowered people by asking plausibly deniable insulting questions and making off color comments. One would never expect a holistic "physician" concerned with the well-being of her "patients" to exhibit a narcissistic need to bring others down a notch in a work setting. I certainly never expected that from a woman clearly old enough to be my mother. Don't second guess yourselves, friends, dealing with K.F. is dealing with a psycho-social parasite.

Doctor Beer is an experienced, highly informed and insightful doctor. He sees the whole person and not just the parts - which one expects but rarely encounters! He is personable and kind, and values my feedback. His entire staff is friendly, caring and responsive. I recommend this practice with highest marks, a great experience all around.

Leah Geoghegan, Nurse Practitioner at IMNY, is amazing and a rare find in the medical world! Every interaction is excellent (and there's been lots of conversations). She's incredibly knowledgeable in so many areas of functional medicine, detail oriented and thorough, and above all really cares about making the whole patient experience a positive one. My finance and I have been searching for years for a practice like IMNY where they actually take real time to get to know a patient and his/her history and don't rush us at the office. Dr. Beer is fantastic as well - he and Leah are a dream team to work with... finally!!

I visited Dr. Beer a couple years ago due to a health condition and was told that they would "work with insurance companies". This was a major selling point because most functional practitioners tell you that meeting them is expensive given that their practice is not covered by insurance. I visited Dr. Beer precisely because I felt this was a great deal. It turns out this was too good to be true. My total bill was $3,500 for an assessment and lab results. The silliest part here is that Dr. Beer never actually told me the results of his detailed assessment. The messaging that was delivered to me regarding cost was misleading as it relates to value (which I would define as outcome divided by cost). The messaging implied that it was quite possible that insurance would cover part of the visit, which ended up being false (of course). Moreover, I did not actually receive any care despite the high price point that was paid by me. In any other industry, this would be considered a clear instance of abuse. The word "fraud" is strong language, but I personally believe this is a practice that should be deemed fraud. For anyone visiting Dr. Beer, I would encourage you to ask upfront what the cost of your lab results will be. If they give you a dodgy answer like "we will work with insurance companies" you should go in with the understanding that you might be given a bill that you do not like. If you do not receive an answer it is probably fair to assume that the cost will be a figure in the mid-single digit thousands of dollars like mine was. Ask yourself whether paying that sum is justified given that you might be uncertain to begin with whether Dr. Beer's practice actually does achieve better results than any benchmarks (since there is no way to benchmark doctors just in general).
