    The legacy of Langston Hughes is alive and well at the I, Too, Arts Collective. Key concerns of Hughes and other members of the Harlem Renaissance find support and encouragement even today.

    It’s many things to many people. From music, to poetry, to filmmaking, this place has activities that encourage them all. Also it’s housed in the historic home of Harlem a Nobel Laureate, Langston Hughes.

    My first time at I Too Arts in August 2019 was immensely inspiring and uplifting during the Salon 127 Open Mic. It truly a Mecca for Poets and those passionate about the arts. I commend the organization for continuing Langston Hughes legacy.
