I love this place so much I happily travel from the UWS to get my nails done here! They're one of the few places that actually care about my nail health and don't use drills, even when removing gel. The service has been fantastic every time I've come here, with multiple people (including the owner) checking to make sure I enjoyed my service and greeting me by name. The salon is very clean and calming. Highly recommend!

I don’t leave reviews very often - but I literally fractured my toe on impact at home and my pedi outlasted my bones - goated (it’s polish only too and I don’t have a single chip 2 weeks later)

Service was nice but sadly my mani didn’t even last 1 week without chipping away & my gel toes at 2 weeks look like they need to be redone :( it was also very expensive for it not lasting long.

WOW!!! What a beautiful experience at HORTŪS NY. Everyone is very friendly, and what I liked most was the homey, neighborhood feel created by the owner, Jane. She is incredibly helpful in putting together a theme for your outfit, including coordinating color schemes for your nails and even your makeup. CJ, the host, is amazing, and Sami, the nail technician, does a fantastic job. Tying it all together is the wonderful sense of community among the patrons. I’m so grateful I walked into this salon. I’m already looking forward to next time I need to get my nails done!

Amaszinf experiences at Hortus. I went one year ago when my nail beds were completely destroyed from going to a nail spot for gels. Hortus completely repaired my nails with a specialized manicure they offer. Only took about two manicures to have completely different nail beds - so healthy. The space is spotless, beautiful, quiet. The staff has incredible skill and does all by hand no electric machines (aside from the gel curing machine). I did not get a manicure for MONTHS due to travel and work and just returned for a beautiful red manicure for a wedding I attended and have received more compliments on these nails than I ever have received. Will keep returning. The price is based on luxury service.

I got a pedicure here before my graduation and they fit me in after I called last minute !! Everyone was very kind and helpful. My pedicure is beautiful !! They have great color variation and products.

My favorite nail salon!! My gel manicures from Hortus last weeks longer than other salons, and the vibe is so peaceful with jazz playing and lots of plants. Highly recommend if you want an actually relaxing mani/pedi experience.
