I've come here several times and was always very happy with my cut and color. Today I wanted to try out the Shibuya Head SPA -zen- with Blowout and was so glad I did! Mizuki was super knowledgable and attentive. In addition to a consultation and scalp analysis, there was a relaxing 40 minute massage followed by a series of cleansing, treatment, rinse and conditioning. I highly recommend adding the blowout and styling afterwards. My hair felt super soft and I felt so refreshed and relaxed. I'll continue to come here for my haircuts, but definitely want to do the head spa again too!
I visited HKS himitsukichi salon on a weekday morning. I was able to get reservations through their website. They are located on the third floor and one has to take stairs up, so not the most easily accessible. However, the salon is charming and I loved the Tokyo vibes. :) my haircut took about an hour and I left feeling refreshed. Especially loved their deep conditioning massage. My hair feels soft and the head massage felt so relaxing. Will be back!
I have particularly difficult hair: thin and prone to frizz with a cowlick right at the front. It has been generally difficult to find a style or cut suited to me. I’m extremely picky about who cuts my hair/how it is cut due to this, but Takumi has quickly become a reliable stylist (out of only 2!) whom I trust to cut my hair in this lifetime.
