I've come here several times and was always very happy with my cut and color. Today I wanted to try out the Shibuya Head SPA -zen- with Blowout and was so glad I did! Mizuki was super knowledgable and attentive. In addition to a consultation and scalp analysis, there was a relaxing 40 minute massage followed by a series of cleansing, treatment, rinse and conditioning. I highly recommend adding the blowout and styling afterwards. My hair felt super soft and I felt so refreshed and relaxed. I'll continue to come here for my haircuts, but definitely want to do the head spa again too!

I visited HKS himitsukichi salon on a weekday morning. I was able to get reservations through their website. They are located on the third floor and one has to take stairs up, so not the most easily accessible. However, the salon is charming and I loved the Tokyo vibes. :) my haircut took about an hour and I left feeling refreshed. Especially loved their deep conditioning massage. My hair feels soft and the head massage felt so relaxing. Will be back!

I have particularly difficult hair: thin and prone to frizz with a cowlick right at the front. It has been generally difficult to find a style or cut suited to me. I’m extremely picky about who cuts my hair/how it is cut due to this, but Takumi has quickly become a reliable stylist (out of only 2!) whom I trust to cut my hair in this lifetime.
I came in for a birthday cut months back, after i had grown out my hair for about two years, and I left with the most gorgeous bob I’ve personally ever had. I went in this week wanting a bigger change, a style I’ve always wanted but never had the faith that someone could do right. Takumi cut my hair the shortest it has ever been; he gave me beautiful texture and volume, and even cut bangs that work very well with my hair and cowlick (first time with bangs ever btw).
Takumi is extremely diligent and has an eye for even the smallest details. I always bring ref photos and he does an amazing job with personalizing the cut to emulate the inspo whilst working with my hair type.
I will be back to HKS and booked with Takumi next time I have an itch for a new style <33

I went there on a friday evening and it wasn't busy due to new years. I've been coming to this place a lot and I've got to say they cut hair pretty well. The experience was great and the ambiance of the place os very rustic and cozy. The haircut overall was nice and clean. I highly recommend coming here.

Realize there is a chunk of hair that is longer than the rest on the second day. I showed a picture of Rachel from Friends and the results is nothing like that. Disappointed because it was $100 after tips.
