This is the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. Every barber here is professional and friendly. I look forward to coming in not only to get my haircut but to catch up with each barber. Matt is my barber and I’ve never had a bad cut. Highly recommend this place

I visited HK Barbershop this past Tuesday and booked my appointment through Booksy. The check-in experience was great--friendly greeting, no wait time, and my barber was ready as soon as I walked in. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. This was my first time at this shop, and I had spent a full year growing out my hair to get a very specific haircut. I showed the barber a clear picture of what I wanted. He glanced at it once, said "OK," and got to work. I asked for a burst fade, but he didn't seem to understand what that was. Communication was difficult--either due to a language barrier or lack of response. He turned me away from the mirror while cutting, so I couldn't see what was happening. When he was done, I was shocked. The cut looked nothing like the pictures I showed him. He didn't follow the style at all and ended up cutting off most of the hair I had spent a year growing out. I left feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Now I have to wait another year just to try again for the style I originally wanted. Overall, not a good experience and definitely not the outcome I expected.

After moving to NYC from a different country, I had to make sure my barber would be doing a great job every single time. My first haircut in NYC was at HK Best Barbers after finding them on Yelp. I was very satisfied with the atmosphere, the price, and the result. Since then, I had to try different barbershops since I moved to the UES. I understood pretty fast that 2 trains to Hell's Kitchen to HK are completely worth to ride since they are the best. Pablo is my favorite. He's just great at what he does. He's nice, gentle, and accurate. With that being said, all of HK Best Barbers' barbers are truly very good at what they do.
You simply can't go wrong with them. I warmly recommend you to try them.
