A former dancer, with decades of experience as a practitioner in the lineage of Joseph Pilates, Gina is Queen of Pilates in New York, and Grasshopper is her gem of a studio. She will push you but not injure you -- she's extremely knowledgable and careful about the body. I would give her 10 stars if I could. PS - I occasionally work with other teachers there and they have been wonderful too!

I’ve been going to Grasshopper for about a year as well as other studios in the area but I always come back to Grasshopper as being my favorite. Beautiful space, friendly instructors, classes are small and focused on you. I’m now dealing with a back issue and they have been so supportive and helpful. I’ve learned so much and gotten so much stronger through my work with the instructors there. They are all wonderful.

What a great hidden soho gem ! Perfect location right next to many subways stations! Had a wonderful teacher named Sarah. She did a private session for me and my sister- she worked slowly with us and explained everything we were doing since it was our first time. She even explained the history of Pilates and showed us some awesome pictures on the wall of the guy who invented Pilates! Great and clean facility. I will return and recommend to all friends.
