Ive been going to this salon for probably 40 years; sometimes twice a year, sometimes more. It's morphed from it's posh E 74th Street large salon, always lovely, always fun of my youth, to it's more modest location now. I have never gotten anything but wonderful hair styling and hair color here. the stylists seem to have a sixth sense about what looks good on me, the type of person I am, and send me out feeling pretty and confident, with a style I can manage. Taka styled my hair today with his usual precision and care. I remember him as a young stylist, almost dancing around his clients. So that's the story--you can't go wrong here. I wish it would be there forever.

Taka gives the BEST haircut! He is precise, naturally skilled, exquisite in his cut! Love the cut!! Take always gives me the most amazing hair cuts! Highly recommend him!! This salon is also extremely nice, very welcoming and yet has the hospitality of a Madison Avenue salon. Very nice!
