George does an amazing job. Great haircut, excellent beard trim, and a delight to talk to. He's been cutting hair downtown since 1996. An institution of lower Manhattan! Highly recommend.

I’ve often walked by George’s Barber shop but tonight I really needed a trim and I didn’t have time to go uptown, so I stopped in and asked for a haircut for a lady - George took me in even though he is primarily a barber, and trimmed and straightened my hair perfectly! He doesn’t do layering but for what I needed he was great!! I love his store - he’s been there 22 years! I highly recommend for expertise, friendliness and service!

This was first time going to George’s and it was fantastic. I got a great haircut and George is a really nice guy to talk to and be with. He knows how to make anyone looks good and I highly recommend him. Next time I need a haircut I’ll definitely go back.
