    Best Buy is scum! I've already written about how I bought an Air Conditioner from them... on the condition they would install it. I det up an appointment. Air conditioner delivered... Then, "Sorry we don't install air conditioners that are not in the window." I had to return it. And unless I brought it to a UPS office, I had to pay for pick-up. That's a 125lb machine... like I'm gonna carry it to a UPS office. I continued with my TOTAL TECH membership, even though the local store closed. I had previous success with a guy who fixed my printer a couple years agos... and with the $200 a year plan, you get unlimited home visits... NO YOU DON'T!!! The system changed and all you get is phone support. If you want someone to come and fix the problem it'll cost you an extra 80 bucks. Of course they didn't tell me that when they automatically renewed my membership. POW! Total Tech canceled. I'll do my best to NEVER buy at Best (make that WORST) Buy again. Keep away!!! They're evil!

    WORST! We dropped off our son's phone 10 days ago for repair at Long Island City location in NY. We were told 3-5 days. We got no notifications until we started calling. Then we got 3 different answers and realized they probably lost the phone, so we drove to the location where we dropped it off. We get there, we get another reply and turns out they forgot about our phone and only shipped it a week late and they have NO IDEA what the status is or if it arrived. The manager looks at us with blank eyes, not offering to ship it to us when it's ready, not apologizing, not offering anything for the trouble they caused and for the fact that our 15YO travels around NYC without any ability to communicate. We will NEVER EVER EVER return to geek squad and we are cancelling our membership with them.

    We wanted a TV unmounted from a wall (Best Buy originally mounted it) and put up on a different wall in a different room. Sounds simple? The Geek Squad Tech showed up with a "new truck without the correct equipment." He was supposed to come back 5 days later and we would be his "first customers of the day." No show. He didn't answer his phone and his supervisor didn't answer his phone either. After over an hour on the phone with Geek Squad customer service/schedulers, ( spoke to 4 different agents), they couldn't come up with a date for an appt. (Offered us just one date we couldn't do.) How do they stay in business? According to the last agent we spoke to, we didn't use the word' relocate' when we first made our initial appt.!!! Really? I would give them 0 stars. We canceled our Geek Squad VIP membership.
