I called same-day and the receptionist booked me without any hassle. GRS offers a locker room, scrub-down, hot towels and robes, and attentive and professional staff. The therapy I received was more than expected but as a result, I left relaxed, eager to return on my next visit to Manhattan.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Went in for a deep tissue massage, left with a deep giggle fit. "Tickle Me Elbow" truly lives up to its name. If you're looking to de-stress, be prepared to snort-laugh your worries away. My ribs may hurt from laughing, but hey, at least my back feels great! Will be back... with a pair of tickle-proof socks! ? Highly recommend for anyone in need of a good chuckle!
Garden Retreat is my favorite Asian spa to visit whenever I'm in Manhattan. Over the years, the masseuses have always been attractive and the massage is consistently excellent from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and responsive. There is a locker room that is carefully managed to maintain privacy and security. They have two shower tables and a standing shower. Everything is clean and fresh. You can walk-in, but I find it a good idea to book an appointment especially during the busy hours or if I want to book my current favorite masseuse. I usually tip $50 or $60 unless I've had a really good week.I'm happy to see that Mia is back!
