AVOID. I have been a patient here since 2020 and am very disappointed with my recent experience accessing my patient portal and medical records. Over several months, I have called multiple times and was repeatedly told the IT team would follow up, but I have received no response or resolution. Despite ongoing requests, I have not been granted access or received any meaningful assistance to retrieve my own medical records!!!
This level of communication and lack of follow-through is unacceptable for a healthcare facility. Due to this ongoing issue, I will be transferring my care elsewhere.

They have really gone south with attention to care and detail. I need to leave this practice ASAP. For the third year in a row they incorrectly wrote my Mammo script as screening vs diagnostic. I went to apt and am unable to get the test because it’s not bilked properly. I called office to request it be updated but the people who answer are over seas answering service people who aren’t able to help in any timely way. Most frustrating? I spoke to the managers the past 2 years about this exact issue and it keeps repeating!!!!! I feel like I’m screaming at the wind. They aren’t listening and patients are mere numbers here.

TLTR - terrible at record keeping, scheduling, and following up.
Until Northwell Health implements serious changes, AVOID this practice.
As a first-time dad with my wife now at 38 weeks, I'll admit I didn't know what to expect from an OB GYN — but I've learned enough to warn others. Things seemed manageable at first, aside from bouncing between different offices for different types of visits. But as we approached the final weeks of pregnancy, the cracks became impossible to ignore.
For starters, we've had zero access to test results, scans, or any records since the first month because their patient portal has been down during a system migration — with no timeline or workaround offered. Worse, when my wife's general practitioner flagged a thyroid concern during a routine checkup and we asked Garden OB GYN to compare it against her early pregnancy levels, we found out they had never taken them. EVEN WORSE, they told my wife she wasn’t pregnant from an initial urine test in early first term, left her in the office alone for 30 min, and then finally confirmed she was actually pregnant once they performed an ultrasound.
The scheduling failures were equally alarming. When we arrived for an ECV procedure, no one had told us to come 2 hours early — so we showed up 2 hours late. And when the practice told us they had scheduled a week-39 induction, it was nowhere to be found in the hospital's system.
We are now at the hospital and genuinely grateful that the Lenox Hill staff has stepped in to fill the gaps this practice left. We're switching with about 2 weeks to go, and we have no regrets.
Don't be misled by the positive reviews — trust the negative ones. Skip this practice and find one that will actually support you through your pregnancy. You and your baby deserve better.

It has been almost 3 months and I have not received a copy of the test results for tests that were done on 12th March when I did my annual with them. I have called them multiple times, sent emails, checked the portal, which is broken. Emails have been ignored. On the call, the customer service rep told me that issue will be fixed and i should check again. Same thing is said to me every time I call. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Expect to be completely miserable with trying to get your healthcare results, unexpected charges by not communicating ahead of time, and trying to reach a front desk. Their new Northwell Healthcare company has made accessing your online portal impossible or reaching help impossible. They also have a webcam looking right at your spread legs so if they get hacked or someone decides they want to record your privacy is out the window. They weren't the best in terms of being organized last year but the practitioners were great and worth the return however this new Northwell company reminds me why I hate going in for healthcare. Call center knows the portal is messing up and not letting people in and still redirects people to this. Now I must go in person to ask directly that they fix their billing and the portal. Funny is that they are charging me for an outside facility (labs) without permission but I can't charge them for wasting my time on playing phone tag for an hour to just get told they can't help ask another person.

It’s unfortunate that a good practice with kind and attentive practitioners is managed so poorly. I received a voicemail saying they had lab results for me and that I should call the office back but they didn’t leave a callback number and the incoming number was unlisted. The phone number listed online sends you to a mass call center and the agents have no way of forwarding your call to the practice or offering a working number for you to call directly (the number they did offer was out of service). It is ridiculous that patients here have no way of directly calling their doctors.

All my other experiences at Garden OBGYN have been very negative. Avoid Garden if you can!
Everything is frustrating, slow, and clunky: from registering as a new patient, to registering AGAIN at a return visit, to absolute radio silence on lab results, to trying to access their half-broken patient portal.
Their waiting lobby is also dirty and depressing - almost all the chairs have large visible stains or cracks.

This facility really need to improve their logistics, I requested formal report for my test results send to my email, and signed all required docs. And I chased the test results quite few times, emphasized I need formal reports ASAP every time. At the end of day, no updates on the report in email nor the patient portal, and the stuff just came back in a simple message “you lab results come back as normal”with no attachement of the report. If the test results are out, how hard is it to post it on my patient portal or to email me a copy? I had to chase them again and again. And every time I call, they will ask if my insurance has been changed… which I don’t know how does that related to my lab results.
And not to mention, their patient portal is a trash, nothing is updated over there, even the patient service assistants were saying results are posted in my portal, but actually nothing was posted there.
Last but not least, you won’t be able to speak to the clinic nor the provider after the visit, because all the numbers related to this Garden OB/GYN is directed to their centralized call center… and they seems don’t have any info on your visit.
Anyway, I should’ve and will avoid this place from the beginning!

I have been a patient at Garden for over 8 years, and I’ve watched the quality of service decline steadily year after year. One of the most frustrating issues is the constant change in providers — you almost never see the same doctor or nurse practitioner twice. Each visit feels disjointed. For the annual physical, which is supposed to be fully covered by insurance, they order different tests every single time. They outsource lab work, resulting in multiple lab co-pays for single visit. Even worse, they often add tests that are not covered under the annual wellness exam, leaving me with surprise bills that can easily reach hundreds of dollars. Disputing these charges has proven completely ineffective. Despite repeated protests, the bills remain. While I have no choice but to pay them, the experience has become far too stressful and indifferent to patients’ wellbeing. I will be seeking care elsewhere and strongly recommend that anyone considering an appointment at Garden reconsider.
Additional edit after i emailed the address provided by the response below, this is what i received: Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your concern. After checking your account and coordinating with the office, we wanted to share an important update.
At this time, our office no longer directly handles billing disputes. However, the billing team is the best point of contact and will be able to review your concern in detail and assist you further.
