    I had a great experience. They went above and beyond to help me, and the owner was refreshingly honest, something that’s hard to find. Instead of pushing unnecessary services, they helped me save a significant amount of money. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Highly recommend!

    Its starting to get warm and my AC was shot. I was dreading having to make another call to get this service done but Peter put my mind at ease. One less thing to have to deal with! Shi Bin was friendly when he came to check out the unit and the whole experience went as smoothly as one could hope. Thank you!

    Technician is only good at changing filters. He told me the motor stopped working and asked me to cut a hole in my ceiling so they can access it; I followed up multiple times for a second visit and I got ghosted; so I have a hole in my apartment and freezing in the winter. To add, my elderly parents are living with me during the holiday and they have to suffer through it because of the non-responsiveness, when all I’m asking is to put a date in the calendar for a return visit.

    Update: got another contractor for a second opinion, he said it was completely unnecessary to open the ceiling and had no issue accessing the motor and diagnosing the issue (he took the time check with colleague and went thru the documentation in the unit) with fast turnaround time. Hence not only am I forced to spend close to $1k for the freaking hole, but also had to deal with a defensive team that was completely non responsive and had the audacity to say I ignored their text.

    Update 2: my neighbor told me they botched an actuator installation that resulted in a short circuit that was burning the plastic covering the instructions manual; I guess they are also good at burning down people's apartments.

    Peter was very helpful in diagnosing my A/C system and recommending the appropriate steps to get it fixed. The initial fee is not cheap, but, worth it, in my opinion, for someone like him, who will work with you.

    The technician came here, fixed the problem for me, and the problem came back. I try to call him, but he doesn't answer the phone. He just took the money and didn't come back.

    👍 It's funny. While I can't vouch for repairs or repair quality, the customer service I received about an estimate compelled me to leave this review!

    I believe it was Pete (at least that was on the caller ID). We figured out right away my unit wasn't worth hiring out for repairing, but he stayed on the phone with me to explain a few things & why the DIY videos i saw on YouTube weren't worth investing the time, effort & money.

    I'd imagine if a person or company is willing to stay on the phone for several minutes after they know they aren't getting your money, there is some honesty, honor & reputability in their practices & workmanship!

    I had the best experience with Fresh Air!! They are fast, responsive, and clearly experts at what they do!!

    My central air had stopped cooling the apartment, and after a different company’s tech had told me I would need to replace the entire system, I wanted to get a second opinion and I’m SO glad I did. Not only did they send out a tech immediately, they also had my central air back up and running within a few hours - this after being told by a different company that the unit was beyond repair!

    From the moment I contacted them, their customer service was friendly and responsive. they immediately put me in touch with the owner, who talked me through the issues I was having and clearly explained what our options were and how we could proceed. The technician arrived shortly after and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained everything in a way I could easily understand, then fixed the problem while giving me tons of information and tips for maintenance to keep my system running smoothly.

    my HVAC system is now running perfectly, the pricing was fair and transparent, and everyone I spoke to was wonderful. I will absolutely be using Fresh Air in the future and I highly recommend Fresh Air to anyone in need of HVAC services – they truly go above and beyond! Five stars all the way!
