We worked with Klym for our wedding dance. He was always professional and worked within the style and song we wanted. I went in thinking we would only learn a few moves and we were able to do a complicated routine. We had a great experience!
I’ve had a truly wonderful experience at Fred Astaire. Everyone in the studio could not have been more welcoming and kind. The instructors are remarkable, both in their skill (they are professional dancers) but also in their ability to introduce beginners to dance and slowly build up skills. I would highly recommend lessons with Fred Astaire!
The staff at Fred Astaire UES is so warm and welcoming. Hanna has been our teacher now for about a year and a half. She’s absolutely amazing!
My husband and I started coming to prep for our wedding dance in Nov 2024. After our wedding in May 2025, we decided to keep coming as a fun hobby that we could share as a married couple.
Some honest comments:
- Dance classes are a financial commitment. We did not know that going into it, but looking around, it seems to be the standard. I only mention this because the initial sticker shock is real. But, if you can afford it, we recommend it.
