Okay I have to talk about this place because I genuinely look forward to every single time I walk through those doors. Learning ballroom dancing has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl, and I’m so glad I found the absolute best place to finally make it happen.
I take private lessons with Tim and Danylo in the Downtown studio, and honestly these two have changed the way I move and the way I carry myself. They don’t just teach you steps - they teach you how to feel the music, and that’s something really special.
The group classes three times a week are so good if you want extra practice, and the monthly dance parties?? Literally the highlight of my month. Such a fun vibe and you get to actually use everything you’ve been learning.
What gets me most is that it’s this perfect mix of being incredibly professional - like these instructors really know what they’re doing - but you never feel out of place or self-conscious. Everyone there just roots for you. It feels like a community, like family honestly.
I came in knowing nothing about ballroom and now I’m completely obsessed. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, just go. Take the intro lesson. You’ll understand immediately.

My fiance Zac and I took lessons here for our first dance at our wedding! Uliana and Daleina helped us with amazing choreography and made it so fun. We feel so confident and can’t wait to perform for our family and friends.

Joel was a really great instructor and helped us prepare for our wedding dance on a time crunch. He met us where we were at with little experience and it made for a really fun positive experience leading up to our wedding.

If you’re relatively new to dancing like me, I’d recommend the 10-class package. We only had time for 8 and 2 more would have really given me some extra confidence. I also found it difficult on busier nights to learn moves while instructors were sharing the music. I enjoyed the classes that were earlier in the morning on weekends or later in the evening on weekdays where we got to play our song on the speaker more.

Just finished our first dance lessons with Joel for our wedding and I can’t recommend him enough! We came in with very minimal dance experience, but he worked with us to choreograph a dance that fit with the song we chose & felt very authentic to us. He was super patient, gave great feedback, helped us change course when needed & made the experience really fun!

We decided to take lessons kind of on a whim, but I’m so glad we did - this ended up being one of our favorite parts of the wedding planning process. We went from not really knowing what we were doing to confident within 8 lessons or so, and couldn’t have done it without him, so THANK YOU JOEL!! You’re the best :)
