I've been coming here for the past 2 years and have gotten different cuts from different stylists each time, and each time they absolutely kill it. This time I had the pleasure to have my hair cut by Shirley, who took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted. The next day when I was unsure about some aspects of the cut, she happily altered it and again, took the time to really understand the look I was going for. I never felt rushed or unheard. Highly recommend her and this salon !
I've been going to Filament for years. It's taken a lifetime to find a hair shape that works for me and I don't have the kind of cut that would emphasize my wave pattern, but it works for me and I feel like Filament's stylists get that.
I also have bangs - I love the bang trim option and, again, I personally find they do listen to whatever YOU want versus other curly/wavy salons which just seem to prioritize encouraging the curl above all else (if that makes sense).
Also don't sleep on them for color... I've never had so much success with experimenting with color. They've endured me asking for corrections when something comes out too light, etc. Whatever color methods...read full review
Amazing experience! I first discovered this salon after I cut my own hair into a mess, and my hairstylist fixed it to perfection exactly how I needed it!! I’ve now visited this salon three times and it has officially become the salon I will stay loyal to.
