Had my latest pair of glasses done here. Zeiss Rx is the best, bar none. Covered by my insurance, which was awesome. I splurged on a crazy lens - Zeiss Smartlife (see distance and your watch/smartphone), Burgendy Photofusion X for sunglasses, Violent tint fade 30-5% for indoors, with a Duravision Flash Sappire coating front, and a regular duravision back coating rear. It is AMAZING. A bit expensive, but totally worth it. At mimimum, get a tint - they're super inexpensive and look and feel amazing. Photofusion is a gamechanger for going outdoors. And the flash coating - well, that's just extra nonsense, but I like it, you can maybe leave that off. lol

I visited the Upper West Side store on Columbus Avenue today. Alex was the salesperson who worked with me and I was very impressed with him. He answered all of my many question with patience and with honesty; when I asked him questions about the relative merits of various frames, he gave me honest answers. He never tried to push me into buying a more expensive item than I needed. In fact, throughout our conversation, he was not the least bit pushy. Overall, I was really impressed with his professionalism.
