Tony has been cutting my hair for ~10 years, even though I no longer live or work nearby anymore. I'll go to him until he retires. He's very good at what he does and very easy to deal with. A real craftsman and a cool guy. Class act. Worth every penny. My hair is really wavy and grows in a bunch of different directions and historically was a huge pain in the a** that I was self-conscious about, but Tony helped me figure it all out. He really takes care of clients: over the years, he's moved things around to help me out last-minute, found time to give me a quick touch-up before an interview - stuff like that. I imagine most of the people checking out a salon like this would be women, to which I'd say that my wife now comes here too and her hair's looking great these days.

I love going to Saori at Emilio Antonio - she has cut my hair for years now. The owner, Tony, is warm and friendly and the salon has a great vibe. If anyone is wondering about getting a haircut during the age of coronavirus now that NYC is opening up again, I can tell you that the salon is totally prepared and disinfected. They took out one of the chairs and there are only a maximum of 2 stylists and 2 customers at a time. Everyone wears a mask and everything is wiped down with disinfectant after every customer. Hand sanitizer is also available. There are even full face shields if you are more comfortable with your stylist wearing one (I didn't feel it was necessary, but some people might). I felt really at ease. Saori always takes the time to make sure my hair is cut just the way I like. After months in lockdown, it feels great to have my hair short again and has really lifted my mood!
