This place gave me a great haircut. My hairdresser was extremely courteous, kind, and competent. It's not too pricey, and the customer service was excellent. It was fantastic. I will give them a 5-star rating and recommend them.

I was starting to experience some scalp issues, and I also needed to fix my hair. I was absolutely blown away by the experience I had at Hisako. I've been to a number of salons throughout the world, and Hisako is now one of my favorite salons, but mainly because of my stylist Mamoru. He is AMAZING!!! I came in for a head treatment to fix some scalp issues I was experiencing... my scalp has been feeling dehydrated since winter time and because of my job, and I was experiencing some flaking. I had a thorough scalp massage and cleaning, and my scalp issues pretty much became dormant since. Afterwards, I had my hair cut. Before coming in, I had a horrible hair cut after a drunken night with my friend. Mamoru was able to salvage and save my hair and gave me such a cute and beautiful hairstyle!! He's incredibly kind and thorough, and he gives great suggestions as well. I'll definitely be coming back when I can!

I really loved my haircut. I had my cut at Chelsea location, the staff was very friendly. The stylist who did my cut was very patient and gave me lot of good suggestions on how to grow out very damaged and dry hair. She is very experienced and talented. I would love to go back.

Hotel I was staying at water pressure was more like a drip so I tried Hisako for a shampoo & blow dry. They squeezed me into their schedule I loved the staff and how attentive they all were! Wish I lived in the city to use this salon all the time! Great staff I will come here again.

Kumi was a dream! I walked in and only had 45 mins before going out of town for a wedding. She gave me a fresh cut, trimmed off my dead ends, cleaned up my layers, and was able to blow dry and even style my hair into beachy waves before I had to dash out. Meticulous and professional. She was also so sweet and friendly, asking if I wanted tea, etc. So happy with how everything turned out!

I was very nervous because I had to find a new salon. I have straight, thick, Japanese hair and I have a very short, asymmetric, pixie cut. My hair stylist was Nao and she was fantastic. She told me it was more helpful for her if I told her how my hair was cut rather than showing a photo. She really listened and was very happy to make adjustments along the way. I'm so happy with my cut and I've gotten many compliments! I'm staying with her!! The prices are well worth it and are not like the crazy Manhattan prices you usually see. Junior stylist at this time is $65 and senior stylist $75. Nao is currently a junior stylist. Nao - no longer works at Hisako but I have been with the stylist Mamoru ever since. He has taken my haircut to the next level and I'm still really happy and have not been anywhere else in a long time!!!
