THIS LOCATION IS THE BEST! Stefani saved the day. My updo is exactly like the picture and I feel so gorgeous. So grateful. I had a bad experience the same day at the Brookfield Battery Park location and everyone at Tribeca was so kind and really saved the day.
The stylists here are excellent. They are friendly, efficient — and give *amazing* scalp massages. They have experience with “difficult” hair textures. My coarse, curly hair comes out silky, bouncy, and looking perfect. The blowouts last for days — and sometimes over a week.
My only complaint is that recently the prices have really gone up (again) — but it’s on-par for the neighborhood. It’s certainly more expensive than your $40 “Dominican blowout” — but they do just as good (if not better) quality job.
Sad to be leaving a bad review for this Drybar, which used to be my favorite. They are just not reliable anymore. Today they were nowhere close to ready for me at my 8:15 appointment time, and they couldn’t even say how long the wait would be, except it would be “long.” A heads up would have been nice as I could have just washed my own hair this morning, but planned for the appointment. No apology or offer to do anything about it. Delays like this are becoming the norm, and the stylists are a lot more inconsistent than they used to be. It doesn’t seem worthwhile to have a membership here anymore. Really sad because this one used to be very good.
