About DoctorHere Primary Care Clinic - Manhattan
DoctorHere Primary Care Clinic in Manhattan receives generally positive reviews for its caring and attentive doctors, friendly staff, and efficient service. Patients appreciate the thorough care from physicians who listen carefully and ask questions, making them feel valued and well cared for. The clinic is praised for being clean, well-organized, and welcoming, with both in-person and telehealth options that are consistently reliable and professional. Many mention short wait times and the ability to get appointments quickly, which is a significant advantage over traditional practices. The doctors are described as thorough, attentive, and genuinely concerned about their patients’ health, fostering trust and satisfaction. However, some reviews highlight issues with billing practices, with complaints about unexpected charges for follow-up visits and disputes over billing for services that should be covered by insurance. These billing problems have led some to consider the clinic unprofessional or unethical. Overall, while the care quality is highly valued, potential patients should be aware of billing concerns before visiting.
I like Dr. Hyun Lee. She listens and is caring and they go through a thorough blood test but the receptionists are a bit of a scam as they asked when they can schedule a follow up appointment to review the results (which I assumed was normal practice for them) only to be charged for a “follow up visit” and another copay. They should offer the option to just send the results first if they’re going to charge for the virtual follow up and make it clear that this is not mandatory.
BEST PHYSICIAN I EVER HAD! Dr. Jung is so attentive and thorough. I don't recall ever going to a primary physician who cared so much. Plus, they are always able to see me on short notice. Those days of waiting for months to see a doctor are gone.
SCAM bills. Avoid this place.
I went for renewing preventive prescription which should be fully covered with no copay or deductible according to federal and state law. But they bill it as an office visit and refuse to make any correction after back and forth communication. Their billing office is either unprofessional or unethical, and you shouldn’t choose this place in either case. I’m suing them, will update with results.
