I partnered with Demar on a commercial project in NY and it was a terrible experience from the time they stepped onsite. They pull you in with a low cost initial proposal, but if you want a functional Toilet, Sink, Drain or Fixture at the end of your project, you'll be paying irrational invoices to get your system functioning. They don't stand behind their work and they don't stand behind their 1-Year Warranty. I would never recommend this company to anyone or any Company. Stay away if you can.

We had a terrible experience with Demar. We hired them to replace our shower works, which had been dripping badly. One of their workmen reeked of pot. When they were finished they told us they had installed a "top of the line" Delta Monitor brand shower works, but it started dripping 5 months later again and soon was worse than before. Three attempts to contact them met with no reply. So our super hired a different plumber, who told us that Demar had in fact installed a phony knock off brand instead of a true Delta, and to make things worse it had a damaged cartridge in it. We live in an 80+ unit coop building and our super/building management will never use them again, despite having used them for years. Oh well! Honesty pays.

Extremely overpriced! They charged me over $1500 to repair 2 radiator valves (max 2 hours of work and 1 of them didn't even work properly was making horrible noises) then charged me another $750 to fix the defective valve they put on (which took max 30 minutes)! Definitely won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them. I asked for quotes and they told me it was $270 / hour but they billed 3 times that claiming extra parts / services or whatever they add to the bill without telling you. They also wouldn't give me prices for the parts when I asked them how much the parts cost at the time of the repairs. The parts are only $30 from a hardware store but they charged me hundreds of dollars for them. It was freezing in NYC so I went ahead and did the repair, but regret it now that I'm dealing with such a nightmare. Not to be recommended.

Expensive but worth it. We’ve relied on Demar over the years for a range of jobs. Water booster pumps, radiator issues, vent pipe leaks, you name it. We keep going back to Demar because the quality of work is high, they’re reliable and easy to deal with. Special shout out to Fabian who has worked on our most troublesome issues with a phenomenal attitude and top tier problem solving.

Avoid them if you can! I asked them to come view a heating pipe that caused cracks in my ceiling. They came into my apartment and looked at it for 5 minutes and then told me I needed a contractor, not a plumber. I then got a bill for $298 for those 5 minutes!
