Moses has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. Great guy and very talented at his craft. Would recommend to anyone!!

Good simple and quick. A nice clean building and good music. Price wise, $55 is about average for UES

I’ve gone to Guido for over 20 years, and he’s consistently excellent. He’s precise, thoughtful, and takes real pride in his work. No matter the cut, I always leave looking sharp, and the results speak for themselves. Guido is professional, easy to talk to, and someone you can trust. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my son had a very disappointing experience at this barber shop. He visited after being recommended by a friend, hoping to prepare for his senior photos. He arrived without an appointment and was greeted by Giro, who assured him he could take care of the haircut.
My son returned home extremely upset. The haircut was poorly executed, with noticeable unevenness on the sides and improper stacking in the back. The overall result was far from acceptable, especially given the importance of the occasion.
I am not someone who typically leaves reviews, nor do I do so lightly, but this experience warranted sharing. We are extremely dissatisfied with the outcome. I

Benny is top notch, and quite frankly a class act; the best barber I’ve had in years. He’s very attentive to detail, easygoing, and cares about his clients. I always get great compliments from people no matter what haircut I get, whether it’s scissors or buzz. Love going to this place whenever I can. Highly recommend!

This was the worst haircut I have ever received in my entire life. The barber Benny fumbled around with a razor just randomly slicing big clumps of my hair off and the end result is that the right and left side of my hair is noticeably uneven - with one side being close to my ear and the other side having a 1 inch gap where Benny decided to shave that area totally bare and I now have stubble there as it grows in. This is a haircut prisons give to inmates before they send them to the electric chair. Stay away from this place at all costs unless you’re a space monkey or want an excuse to be depressed for a month.

I used to come to this place to get my hair cut, not just for the haircut itself but for the typical New York atmosphere, the mirrors, the red leather chairs, the plants, the reflections, the details of a timeless New York you only see in films. A truly authentic place. Now I’ve discovered that they renovated it a few years ago, and of course they did it in a sad, ugly way. Grey, black and white, with absolutely no personality. New York keeps changing for the worse, partly because of the people who open businesses and decorate them in such a cold, impersonal way. What a shame. This is the only picture i have from the old original place. Goodbye, New York.
