This is the best barbershop on the Upper West Side. Angel is professional and works his magic with the clippers, scissors and straight razor. Just tell him what you want or show him a picture of what you want and he'll make it happen!
His brother Miguel in the shop is also a great barber! Everyone is nice and they are constantly sweeping up and keeping the place clean.

I have been a customer at Corniel for nearly a decade I think. It is an absolutely fantastic community barbershop that offers some of the nicest and most consistent cuts that I have had the pleasure of having and witnessing throughout my life. My family has had salons since the 1960s both in NYC and the South. Corniel is a shop that offers customer service that rivals any southern establishment with the speed and efficiency of the fastest paced northern salon. I’ve been coming to this barber shop for years. My barber is Angel. He’s a really good brother! His appointments are always on time and my hair cut is always crisp. He’s accommodating with his schedule to make sure he can fit you in. I come from Brooklyn to get my haircut because he cuts my hair how I like it. Every week someone compliments my haircut. I highly recommend.
