After trying four shops on Bowery, I wound up at Bulb World. Phoebe was willing and able to fix an old lamp I love when everyone else had turned me away. Thank you for the exceptional service and the fair pricing!

Walked in, showed them what i need it, was out the door in 2 minutes. It was pricier than buying online but it's a local small business and they went the extra mile to give me exactly what i needed immediately

I love this tiny specialty shop. They have the crome-tipped (or gold-tipped) bulbs I like. And they are super helpful. I had a plug-in extension cord with a socket at one end that I'd ruined by breaking an old bulb off inside. I brought it with me to ask if they carried them. She said, "No, but I could make you one." What?? Then she did even better; realizing what the problem was, she took it in the back and in a minute came back out with it fixed! So yes, I'm a fan.
