Shayla ate. Period point blank. Dawg she went through a whole journey with me because it was my first curly cut and I was quite nervous. I had researched curly cuts for 4+ years, yes a long time but it was quite an investment and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to regret it. I got there late, no problem. I was hungry, got my food delivered to my seat. I wanted wine, they poured dat. Then the hair cutting started and I won’t lie to you, I panicked. Meow. I had a calm panic attack but SHAYLA tapped in. Shayla is amazing. She has done my cut and color, and both turned out fantastic. I have type 2 curly/wavy hair and Shayla was the first person in NYC trusted to cut my hair. Glad I did. She really listens and is very thoughtful and precise in her approach. Thanks Shayla!

shayla (@hairslay_byshay) made my first curly hair cut + balayage experience one for the books. she was so thoughtful in getting to know my curls and gave me my first s*** cut to compliment my face frame. her coloring was incredible — the balayage frame around the face looks so natural. from cutting to styling, the whole process was perfection. appreciated the level of detail in the trimming and investment in the client — from hair routine guidance and product recos to getting to know her us on a personal level. looking forward to my next visit with her.
