had a frightening and upsetting experience with an employee of Blondie’s Treehouse Landscaping today. While walking my dog in the morning, the employee aggressively confronted me, accusing my dog of peeing on their plants which is curbside in New York on a public sidewalk. His behavior was belittling and intimidating, making me feel unsafe in my own neighborhood. I hope the company addresses this concerning issue as no one should have to experience harassment like this.

Dark red flowers planted at Park Lane Hotel in April/Spring last week. As they were planting , I commented “Christmas is over, Valentine’s Day has past. It’s Spring!!! Pinks, yellows, lilacs, powder blues, purples . They all gave me a dirty look! This company has no class, style, sensibility! Tourists walk by and say “whaaat” ?

While Blondie's does very nice work when they make an effort, they regularly fail to provide the service they promise. Quite simply, they are awful. I was previously the president of my condo board and we hired Blondie's to provide and maintain the plants in our building and on the roof deck . The contract provided they would, amongst other things, water, prune, train, and otherwise maintain the plants. Despite paying them thousands of dollars a year just to maintain the plants, Blondie's consistently failed to do anything other than water the plants. Numerous plants essentially 'went wild' and ended up looking like weeds yet Blondie's claimed it was not their fault they 'went wild' and grew into weeds. I would highly advise against doing business with them as they simply do not do what they promise. By way of example, Blondie's tried to tell me the grass in the attached picture looked the way it should. Why is it no other tall grass I have seen looks like that? We paid them to maintain the plants but the plant in the second picture sat in the lobby looking like this for months yet nobody from Blondie's did anything about it. Their contract provided they would visit the building every two weeks in the summer and once a month in the winter to maintain the plants yet all they ever did was water the plants.
