If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is completely unprofessional and shady. When I called to book an appointment, I was told the next available wasn’t until December 16th. But when my boyfriend called a little while later, suddenly they had an appointment the next day. When I called back to ask why, they stumbled over their words and came up with a lame excuse about a “last-minute cancellation.” Clearly, they pick and choose who they want to take care of, and honesty is not a priority here. I wouldn’t trust a place that can’t even be transparent over the phone—never mind with my pet.

Don’t bother with this place. There are plenty of other capable groomers in the area who give great customer service which you will not receive here. The groomer here does do a good job in terms of the cut, but they never fully remove the ear hairs no matter how much you ask. Other groomers have no problem doing this at all so I am not sure about the issue. However, the number one issue in this place is the woman who services customers in the front. She is incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. When she does something wrong like misinform you she still acts as though she’s made no mistake and it’s on you. She told me not to bring in my dog so early because the groomer doesn’t arrive until an hour after opening, but then when I get there at the specified time somehow there is already a line of dogs waiting in cages for their turn. She then proceeded to act like she’s done nothing wrong and actually gave me a nasty attitude because this should acceptable? No apologies just full of excuses. I have gone out of my way to take my dog to the vet the very next morning after a grooming to make sure her vaccines were up to date so they wouldn’t get a violation from the inspector. Yet I was still not considered at all in return. They never respected my appointment time and had this awful woman treat me poorly. The last time I called they tried to tell me they didn’t have an appointment until 3 months later so I gave up on them. I don’t even know why they claim to have appointments here when they don’t stick to them. This is a walk-in place that serves on a first come first serve basis. They probably don’t want to flat out say this when you book appointment because who wants their dog sitting in a cage for hours waiting when they are supposed to have an appointment? Apparently at this place they think you should be okay with that based on how they run things. Even look how they respond to other critical reviews publicly.

I really dislike leaving bad reviews but after my most recent experience I’m going to take the time to review this place. My mom and I have been loyal costumers to this groomer/ pet shop FOR YEARS. I stoped by in person to schedule a grooming appointment for my dog. So this clearly wasn’t my first time and coming in to ask for an appointment was easier because I live around the block.
I waited about 10 minutes until someone started to assist me. She “looked” around for my dogs “record” asked me about vaccinations and then quickly told me they had no availability until February 2025. It’s November 2024. To me this was baffling but I said if there was no way they could squeeze him in any time sooner so I didn’t need to go through the hassle of finding a new place. They offered to put me on a waitlist in case there were any cancellations to which I said okay. I agreed because previously they were so accommodating that I figured I’d get a call in a few days.
My mom then goes in person just like I did and tried to schedule a grooming appointment for her dog to which they gladly accommodated her for 2 days later.
I’m not sure if I was the problem. What criteria they follow to give you an appointment. Why someone else that walked in (in this case my mom) got an appointment in 2 days but I was told next available was February. On top of that if there was a cancellation, shouldn’t you call those on the waitlist?
Overall very disappointed in the staff and management here. Will not be coming back.
