I’ve been coming to this salon for years, and it’s always been a place of exceptional service, value, and warmth. The owner and her staff are incredibly talented and kind, which is why they’ve built a loyal customer base that spans years—and even miles.
Recently, the salon was featured in a few TikTok videos, and while that brought attention, it also brought a wave of new visitors who, unfortunately, don’t seem to appreciate what makes this place special. The sudden influx has led to overcrowding, unrealistic demands, and a noticeable shift in atmosphere. Many of these new customers arrive with entitled attitudes, expecting instant service and treating the staff poorly.
It’s disheartening to see a beloved business struggle under the weight of viral attention. The negative reviews popping up don’t reflect the true quality of this salon—they reflect a mismatch in expectations. I sincerely hope the owner feels empowered to prioritize her long-time clients and maintain the standards that made this place so cherished.

This place is so unsanitary and not worth it. The nails were crooked. Charged me $45 for a fill when they said it would be $25. Cut me so bad I got an infection and had to take my nail off (ripping off part of my natural nail) It was burning so bad while she was doing them, I mentioned it a couple times and she didn’t do anything about it. Came home, got the nail taken off and saw how bad she cut my finger. No wonder it was burning... pedicure didn’t use a bag on the tub of water (unsanitary) do not sterilize any of their tools between clients. Might be cheap but NOT worth it!!

If you value your time and money don’t come here. I found this place on TikTok because it went extremely viral for the affordable prices they offer. You literally get what you pay for!! The owner is extremely rude and you could literally tell they’re talking about you in their own language. This set looks like it was done with eyes closed. The place itself looks extremely unsanitary and extremely small. The owner legit walked out to do God knows what for 10 minutes while doing my nails… this was supposed to be a French, please point me to the french. Save your money and time and go elsewhere!!!!

When we walked in the lady was very rude. They didn’t seem they wanted to serve me and my African-American friend. She said the wait was 1.5 hours and that we should made an appointment and to leave. The placed showed they were reusing manicure tools on different people as well.

Annie Jis is a neighborhood gem. I’ve been stopping by every few weeks for about a decade. Annie is no nonsense but still caring and kind. I don’t know who posted those looking Nail photos, but they definitely didn’t come from Annie Jis nail salon.

We are loyal customers to this nail salon for years now so I was very disheartened when I came for my 7:30 appointment and I was told I’d have to wait after a line of walk ins about an hour or so I feel as though the customer service was beyond subpar because what is the point of scheduling and appointment to have to wait as though I was a walk in

I arrived here 10 minutes before it opened. The lady acknowledged my presence as she opened as I stood close enough so she'd know I was waiting. As I stood outside to give her an opportunity to get herself ready as it was before the time they open, two customers came and walked in as she arranged the chairs. Instead of taking us in the order she saw us arriving she took the other two clients who walked in before the schedule opening. I reminded her I was there before the other two customers, and politely left. I have used their services before but this experience was the last straw. If I could have this review would have received no stars. Customer service 0 of 5.

Definitely get what you paid for. The lady was trying to get my nails done so fast the gel was left uncured and around my skin, which is very unhealthy for your nails. The place is not very clean either. The client next to me got her cuticle/skin nipped that she was bleeding and her nails were green, but the nail lady kept building on top of it. This is not the place to get your nails done correctly by a professional.

If I could give this place half a star, I would. It’s dirty, and the main lady is rude and disrespectful. She has no idea how to do nails. Every single nail of mine was a different length and almost a different shape & when I politely asked if she could fix them, she became extremely defensive, rude, and refused to finish my nails. She was loud and was creating a scene—I’ve never dealt with an experience like this in my life. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I remained calm and polite, despite how rude she was, but I guess her ego was hurt when I asked her to fix a few nails. I would not recommend anyone go here. The only reason it’s so cheap is because of the shoddy service and the unclean environment, along with INEXPERIENCED nail techs.
