This is literally the greatest hair salon in NYC, if not on Earth!!! I exaggerate not. Furthermore, I would like to be perfectly honest that I really had no intentions of writing a review of this fabulous salon. If I can be selfish for a moment, I was never planning on telling another soul about this place just so I could keep it all to myself!! But, saying that out loud sounded really bad so here we are. I visited Amoy Couture after noticing my edges had been badly damaged. I arrived at my scheduled time and was ushered into the shop by a very professional and cordial young lady by the name of Geneva. She explained what to expect during my visit and began the process of examining my scalp/edge damage. I was very embarrassed and not sure what could be done to make my hair look more presentable. Geneva was kind and reassuring and also gave me a few tips on what I could do to regrow the area. After receiving a wash and getting my hair braided I was introduced to Ms. Amoy who is amazing.
