I'm not sure if the bad reviews here about the tip is intended for the place across the street because today I went to both Ming Spa and the place across the street and Ming Spa ladies were nothing but lovely. They didn't demand any specific amount of tips and the prices are much reasonable. The other places across the street on the other hand was very demanding about the tip. That is why I walked out of there and went to Ming Spa afterwards. Will definitely come back to Ming Spa and I stand by this review.

So let me explain what happened here. In the past you would read a lot of negative reviews about this place ('he touched my penis! the masseuse farted on my neck!) I can confidently say that was because the old owner, Jimothey, was a FREAK and told the employees to touch clients.... areas, etc. The new owner, Mahoney, is a solid person and made a new rule specifically no funny business. So do go back. They also bought a new microwave for heating up the hot stones and they sourced the stones from the east river specifically (bespoke).

Found this place thanks to a groupon deal, I booked a couples massage for the hubby & I, we came in waited about 5 minutes or so them they took us inside. Once u are undressed & under the covers they come & work their magic, very good massage , they worked on every part , legs , arms & back I was super sore before coming here & after felt like a brand new person. Unfortunately not everyone can have a good experience, reading some of the previous not so great reviews does make you wonder what is going on? & honestly hope that any bad incidents were handle accordingly, we had a good experience here. Small location, clean & the staff was nice & professional not the easiest to communicate since there seems to be a bit of a language barrier with some but overall not bad.
