Arsen is a consummate professional and delivers the best shoeshine and shoe repair services I have ever experienced. He is excellent and, to boot, is a true gentleman. Please try him, especially whilst both the adjacent pharmacy and subway entrance / exit are inoperative. I am terrified to think he might go out of business or move!!

Arsen, who owns the shop, is a true gem of a guy. His work is impeccable. I've been going to him exclusively for shoe shines, shoe repairs, and basically everything else shoe-related for many years. He will take great care of you and your shoes. His prices are very fair. A.K. Shoe Repair is an old-school New York shoe repair shop that simply cannot be beat!
