I had such an amazing experience at this Ulta thanks to Kayla! She helped me find everything I needed so quickly and made the whole shopping experience stress-free and enjoyable. She was unbelievably polite, patient, and knowledgeable, and answered every question I had with such a positive attitude. She also got me signed up for a credit card and explained all the benefits clearly, which made the process super easy and worth it. Checkout was smooth and quick, and overall her customer service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back because of how great my experience was. 10/10!

Love this Ulta location! Always clean and organized well. They carry a ton of brands here that aren’t always at every Ulta (which is particularly nice for swatching), including Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, etc. KBeauty section needs to be bigger, but I’m just happy they carry some in-store. There’s a bunch of regular employees that seem to be here almost everytime I stop and they’re all super friendly and helpful. Would recommend!!!

People need to do better!!! Walked into the store with my friend of coarse after work we looked like run down rats, definitely looked like we didn’t belong there. We went in looking for someone to help us get matched for some foundation (we do clean up nice). My friend had walked up to an older lady (who was dressed to the nine very pretty thought she would definitely be able to help us) yeah no. My friend politely asked her for some help being matched for foundation the lady looked her up and down smacked her lips and nasty told us “ well it depends on what brand your looking for, but over here you will be spending 50$-60$ for it” First off what you don’t know is I own a company (money is not an issue) second we had just busted our butts getting dirty “actually working getting our hands dirty” making products for my customers!! Immediately instead of being kind and helping you judged us on our appearance like we couldn’t afford to be there!!!! If this lady would have taken a minute explained how to match and told me about the foundation and all the brands they offer who knows I might have spent 50$-60$ on a foundation! Money does not matter and even if it did you dismissed us like we were nothing because we looked the way we did. For how old you are you should know better than anyone how customer service works and you don’t judge a book by its cover I my friend learned that at five years old! Shame on you! I hope you do better towards people. Store was definitely very cute I just will not be returning!

I'm not proficient in make-up, nor am I familiar with customer-staff relations. However, I will tell you that I was thoroughly disgusted when an employee applied foundation to their bare skin and then applied ut directly to my face! What if they had some kind of skin disease or condition? I was beyond stunned and asked her to remove it immediately as I didn't know what else to say. I will say that most of my interactions have been mostly positive. Please educate your staff to not do this as it is unhygienic. Thank you.

Go see Marlee if you need your brows waxed! Don’t fret about the one other review that mentioned brows falling out — I think they had a medical condition going on at baseline they didn’t disclose. I’ve gotten my eyebrows waxed by Marlee multiple times now and every time have been very pleased; has been a 10/10 experience — zero issues :) She is sweet, calm, careful, detail oriented and great at what she does. She maps out your brows based on your anatomy before starting and always ensures you’re happy with the final product.

Well to start this off, my birthday is in December, so as an Ulta member (for years mind you) I was excited to receive my birthday perks. When I got to the register, I had to force the cashier, Isabella, to even look my account up, for my birthday. She acted as if I was bothering her, and we ended up having to call the manager over. The manager who was nice, found my account right away. Once she had my account, I told her what gift I wanted, and she was still acting bothered (guess I didn’t answer fast enough), and threw the moisturizer in the bag and didn’t even look my way when she said have a good day. I understand everyone has bad days, but as a cashier myself, I still give decent customer service, because that’s what I’m being paid to do. Please do better Ulta, or I’ll have switch to Sephora.

Walked in and there were three employees right in front of the store, made eye contact not one person says hello, asks if we need help, anything. I say hello since no one else wanted to, still no response, they continue talking amongst each other. Walk around the store a couple times looking for something, still no one asks if we need help, meanwhile at least 8 employees in the store. We go up front to ask for help and they CONTINUE talking to one another and then seem bothered by us even interrupting them. One girl was nice enough to show us what we needed. We get to the front, the one cashier is chit chatting with someone, and two other girls are behind the registers just talking, no one even says hi or hey can I help you, literally two feet away acting like we weren’t waiting to checkout. Finally cashed out and just a sour taste in my mouth. The people that work there have no customer service at all.

I have to give a shout out to Gina, from the New Hartford, NY- Lancôme skincare/makeup specialist…. Gina was AMAZING!! I stoppped in on 10/14 looking to replace some lost makeup from another brand. Gina took her time to understand my needs, evaluate my skin type and helped me to get and find the perfect products and I’m now a “Lancôme” girl! LOVE my new moisturizer and full makeup line! Gina is so profess, warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Great associate!

Recently went to ulta not knowing what i was looking for or where to start. Typically when I go I don't get much help, but two employees from the newhartford store Marlee and Sadie took me under their wing and got me an amazing combination of make up. I tried it all on this past weekend and I LOVED it. These girls are amazing!
