I went a few weeks ago for a pixie haircut, I have ADHD and cannot make an appointment a week advance so I decided to chance it by going here. I didn’t want to leave a bad review on a local business, but my hair is totally botched. I have strands throughout that are still the length of my original hair (mainly on my sides), and I definitely didn’t get what i asked for. When I booked I used my first name, no last name was needed. I walk in, all seems well then I was instructed to follow Marie/Maria to the back for a wash. She didn’t know by looking at me that my last name is Martinez, she was so comfortable with the fact that I have fair skin and light eyes talking human rights issues. She started going on about “illegal aliens” and I tried to carefully maneuver and guide the conversation a different direction multiple times. She would talk about how people wouldn’t handle their kids, then mentioned keywords when speaking about situations. Example: “Little black boy” when talking about an incident where an elderly woman was pushed and either seriously injured/ or even killed. I had hoped David (who did my hair) would be a little easier to talk to, maybe less uncomfortable. It was slightly, less conversation and more him doing hair. I showed a reference, I wanted a more chic girly pixie and walked out like I was in a bad I can’t even describe how not good it was. I just wanted out of there so bad, I didn’t have it in me to say anything before walking out. I paid, and walked to ShopRite where I tried to fix my hair myself in the public restroom. David put a strong smelling pomade in my hair that would not let up, and not to mention he used quite literally an uncalled for amount of force to put it in my hair. I had to stiffen my neck as much as I could, and even then with the amount of force he was putting into my hair I couldn’t hold myself still. I deeply regret going there, and I should’ve went somewhere. I hate to be the person to leave a lengthy bad review, but I’m not a happy camper at all. 3 weeks later, and I am still trying to understand what happened at this salon and how to fix my hair.

David cut my kids’ hair. TBH my 10 yr old son has never had such a nice haircut, my 4 yr old was very finicky and David never lost his cool. Plan on going back every 8 weeks from now until hereafter

My granddaughter came to this place we ask them if they did curly hair they said yes and we booked appointment when we came in. They said that they don’t do this kind of hair even though we asked if they did curly hair through the phone before booking an appointment. I’m super disappointed and definitely will not be coming back as I am advising others not to come to!!

I arrived at the hair salon 10am for my 10:30am appointment. I sat down, no one didn’t talk to me or said hello. After waiting for that long without a word. I just left and went to a different hair salon . Just unprofessional place. First time experiencing something like this. Will never return again.

I came to this salon for the first time today and i was nervous to try somewhere new but Kristina and David made me feel SOOO welcomed. I felt right at home and Kristina did an awesome job with my hair. She is so kind and i totally recently coming here my hair looks so beautiful. Thank you again and i can’t wait to come back!
