“After practicing law for almost 50 years, I recently decided the time had come to retire. Not surprisingly, closing down a very busy law practice and vacating the office space after such a long period of time presented significant logistical challenges. I contacted Vanguard Cleaning Systems of the Hudson Valley around Thanksgiving to engage their services to develop and implement a plan of action so that I could vacate my office space by the end of December. When I first spoke to Tony and Donna at Vanguard, I realized I was asking them to accomplish a very large task in a very short period of time, particularly with the end of year holiday season quickly approaching. To my good fortune, they completed the project and the space was completely vacant and broom clean by the deadline we had discussed. Heavy desks, computers, printers, phones, chairs, various office furniture and file cabinets, including massively heavy fireproof ones, were removed as were over 2,000 books. Electronic equipment was disposed at the appropriate county facility. File cabinets were brought to the requisite recycling facility. They took no shortcuts. Beyond that, they relocated 50 banker boxes of files to an off site secured location. All of this work was done in a very compressed period of time without a single adverse incident by individuals who really care about their clients. “AMAVA came today to put mulch in our planters. It’s my first time paying someone to do it because I normally can’t justify paying someone to do something I can do myself. However I just had hernia surgery and can’t pick up bags of mulch right now. They did a great job and everything looks fantastic! Good value for the money as well.
